Terms of Service

By using Netcob ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Netcob provides hosted email services that allow you to send, receive, and store email using your own custom domain. The Service includes IMAP/SMTP access, spam filtering, encryption, and related features as described on our website.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly. You must not:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Data Ownership

You own your email data. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over the content of your emails. You may export your data at any time using any IMAP client.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

7. Payments and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; service will continue until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your email data will be deleted within 30 days. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

9. Anti-Abuse

To protect all users and maintain our sender reputation, we enforce:

Accounts with excessive bounce rates (>5%) or complaint rates (>0.1%) will be automatically rate-limited or suspended.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Netcob shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
